Who Said Naps are Overrated??

Sarah got up from her nap today and came out to the office while I was in the middle on an online quiz for my Psychology course. I told her to wait just a few mintues so I could finish up, and then I would hold her for a while. Well, a few minutes passed and this is what I turned around to see! (We have radiant heat so the floors are VERY warm, I'm sure she was cozy as can be, though it's hard to imagine being cozy on hard floors!)

Nothing Better Than a Cruise....

The girls have a big Barbie cruise ship (not entirely sure who we got it from, but I know it was inherited...). They had a great time with it...I think it's the longest they have played together without fighting in a long time!

Four Eyes Are Better than Two

Sarah has a terrible habit of taking Katherine's glasses so that she can wear them herself. Well...I just ordered new glasses for Katherine, and because it's starting to get expensive, I worried about Sarah breaking the new ones. So today I went to the Wal-Mart Vision Center and asked if they just sold cheap frames without prescription lenses. Fortunately, they did. So here she is, showing off her new specs. :) Cute as can be, which comes as no surprise to me!! Let's just hope this lessens the temptation to steal her sister's glasses! Now if only I could figure out how to make her keep her clothes on.......

TV is Better in Twos

The girls get to watch a couple shows in the morning while I study.... most days I start the show and they are sitting separately. But it never fails, when I go in to check on them, this is usually what I see.

A CUT Above the Rest

I couldn't resist the pun! Katherine had her hair trimmed tonight...got it a bit shorter than I wanted due to her looking down right as I snipped it! Oh well...still cute as a button! I should also mention that SHE chose her shirt (she's been dying to wear it since I brought out the spring/summer clothes), and the braid is her latest favorite hairstyle. She asks for one every morning :)

Bath Time Fun!

The girls LOVE bathtime (as most children do), and it's usually difficult to get them to sit still long enough to take a picture. But, for some reason, they cooperated finally. :) Enjoy!
