If We're Ever Gonna See a Rainbow....
...we have to stand a little rain. :) We saw this double rainbow (look carefully and you will see the second, it's hard to find though) the other night at exactly the right time.

A Blank Canvas
I thought, with the weather being as nice as it was this past Saturday, it would be fun to get some chalk and bubbles! Of course, it's nearly impossible to take picures while bubbles are in high demand, but chalk doesn't require my involvement. Happy 4th of July! Part One
We had a great 4th of July! It started out at Grandpa and Grandma Jansen's house, and what fun the girls had! They ran around the yard, watered the plants, went on a few walks... so fun! We finished the day in Mascoutah to watch the fireworks. Katherine, of course, LOVED them, but Sarah was a bit scared. She calmed down after a while though. We had a wonderful day, the weather was beautiful, and the company was nice

The girls love spending time outside on the deck....they will play out there for hours if I let them! :)
It's a Good Life
Katherine gets to watch a bedtime movie every night once I lay Sarah down. And, when I have them, she gets a flavored water in a plastic bottle....here she is "watching" her movie! :) What a life!
